About Integrative Medicine including Hormone & IV Therapy

Naturopathy and You

The great advantage of injection therapy, whereby vitamins are delivered to the blood stream through a muscle, is that it allows us to reach therapeutical levels quickly and effectively. Unlike with oral supplements, injected vitamins do not need to pass through the digestive system.  We offer two types of therapy to replace your hormone balance: bio-identical HRT and NDT hormone. Either one can effectively alleviate your symptoms. The choice will depend on your individual circumstances and your specific symptoms, but both are safe and without the side effects associated with synthetic hormones.

At EBL we have the advantage of being able to utilize traditional naturopathy as applied through modern therapies with highly accurate functional assessment tools to design and guide custom solutions for each patient's optimal health.

Intravenous therapy can be beneficial for improving symptoms of fatigue, adrenal function, immune function, athletic recovery, detoxification, headaches, macular degeneration, malnutrition and chronic illness by directly infusing nutrients into the blood stream.   The EBL approach to utilizing hormone therapy is first to understand your individual health and the factors that may be causing your hormones to be out of balance. We undertake a comprehensive health assessment during your first visit to our clinic, including testing to determine your current hormone levels and nutrient status. Only after evaluating these data do we talk about prescribing BHRT or NDT hormone therapies, often in conjunction with diet and lifestyle counselling.

The body of research continues to prove that mindfulness and meditation, connecting with your inner self, plays a positive role in healing. At EBL, we embrace this aspect of total wellbeing, and incorporate our patients' mental, emotional and spiritual health into the treatment plan for greatest success and long-lasting results.

Our integrative approach to medicine uses a variety of therapies to treat the whole person, as an individual. It recognizes that the systems of our body are integrated, designed to work synchronously. When there is disease, the dysfunction may be more apparent in one area, but imbalances will certainly be found in other systems. Taking into account the health of your whole body along with your mental and emotional health and other contributing factors such as environment and genetics allows us to understand the root cause of the disease.  Whether used as a standalone therapy or as part of our comprehensive restoration program, IV therapy infuses nutrients such as amino acids, vitamins and minerals directly into the blood stream. Because the nutrients bypass digestion, they are absorbed more quickly and optimally into the cells of the body to help our patients feel better, faster.

EAT, BREATHE, LIVE... well. Our idea of achieving optimal health starts with getting to the root cause of disease and its symptoms. And discovering the root cause begins with functional testing through a variety of means. It means going so much deeper than the standard menu of annual blood tests. We focus on testing the right markers that will lead us to determining where the symptoms originate, in concert with how you live. Only with this information can we customize a treatment plan to bring you back to optimal health.
